Message from Jack Larkin, President of The Larkin Company

I wanted to personally provide you an update regarding The Larkin Company and our operation with regard to the developments of the coronavirus (COVID-19). We recently published an announcement that is available here regarding the impact of the virus on claims and leaves of absence. There is a lot of information coming out and we will continue to monitor and provide updates accordingly.

Additionally, because we have a responsibility to our employees as well as to our clients and their employees, we are taking the following steps:

  • We are monitoring CDC, state and local agency guidance and recommendations daily
  • We have cancelled business travel, have moved onsite meetings to web based meetings
  • We have implemented work from home plans for all Larkin employees
  • For Larkin staff that remain in the office for essential needs, we are practicing social distancing

Our management team is meeting daily to review and address the situation and possible challenges. It is our expectation that our business operation continues as normal. Furthermore, we are watching the situation closely to monitor for any activity spikes or legislative changes that may drive additional activity. At this time we do not see any initial changes according to the data but we are preparing for it.

We will also continue to provide you updates on our operational plan as this situation continues.

I would like to thank you all for your partnership during these times and your continued support of The Larkin Company.

Sincerely,

Jack Larkin
President, The Larkin Company
